Just a quick little post this lovely Wednesday morning- to let you all know about something that I am super excited about and can finally all let you know about it.
On the 24th/25th September 2016 I will be walking a full marathon at night-time which is roughly the equivalent to walking around a football pitch 121 times- around the streets of London for the Shine Night Walk raising funds for Cancer Research. I will be doing this along with the wonderful team at SOLE, 20 other fitness bloggers/journalists as well as with thousands of other people.
This is such an important thing for anyone to be able to do in their life. I have always wanted to do a marathon but know 100% that I would physically not be able to run for that long without dying- so this is the brilliant way to start and I am super excited to be doing it with some incredible people and the wonderful team over at SOLE- who are kindly sending me a little training fitness pack to get me started on my journey, so keep your eyes open for that one.
Over the next few weeks I will be uploaded my fitness training programme and letting you all know how I am getting on. So get ready for a LOT of fitness posts and healthy recipes to fuel and renew your body.
I have set up my JustGiving page and set myself a target of raising £250 for this amazing charity. So please take the time to read and share my profile with your friends and family, and donate as much as you can. Even just £2 can help Cancer Research find a cancer causing gene!!
Normally I hate these self-promoting types of posts but it is all for an incredible charity so YOLO.
Just keep walkin’
